Alle zwei Jahre veranstalten die drei Schwestergesellschaften der Verkehrswissenschaften aus Deutschland – Deutsche Verkehrswissenschaftliche Gesellschaft e. V. (DVWG), Österreich (ÖVG) und der Schweiz (SVWG) – unter der Koordination der European Platform of Transport Sciences Foundation e. V. die DACH-Tagung. Nach der erfolgreichen Veranstaltung in Innsbruck 2024 übernimmt 2026 die DVWG die Ausrichtung.
Die DACH-Tagung 2026 findet gemeinsam mit der 8. EUSALP Mobility Conference statt und wird in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr organisiert.
Unter dem Titel „Unser Alpenverkehr: Grenzen überwinden, Regionen verbinden“ widmet sich das zweitägige Fachprogramm den aktuellen Herausforderungen und Perspektiven des alpinen Personen- und Güterverkehrs sowie der grenzüberschreitenden Infrastrukturplanung.
Den Auftakt bildet ein gemeinsames Plenum mit Keynote und politischen Debatten. Am zweiten Veranstaltungstag stehen zentrale Fragestellungen des Personen- und Güterverkehrs in parallelen Fachsessions im Fokus. Interaktive Diskussionsformate mit aktiver Beteiligung der Teilnehmenden sowie Exkursionen ergänzen das Programm.
Wir freuen uns besonders, dass Staatsminister Christian Bernreiter die Veranstaltung eröffnen wird.

Every two years, the three sister transport science associations from Germany (DVWG), Austria (ÖVG), and Switzerland (SVWG), under the coordination of the European Platform of Transport Sciences (EPTS Foundation e. V.), jointly organize the DACH Conference. Following the successful conference held in Innsbruck in 2024, the DVWG will host the event in 2026.
The DACH Conference 2026 will take place jointly with the 8th EUSALP Mobility Conference and is being organized in close cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport.
Under the title “Our Alpine transport network: removing barriers, connecting regions”, the two-day conference programme will address key challenges and future perspectives of Alpine passenger and freight transport, as well as cross-border infrastructure planning.
The conference will open with a joint plenary session featuring a keynote address and political debates. On the second day, parallel sessions will focus on central topics relating to passenger and freight transport. Interactive discussion formats with active audience participation, as well as technical excursions, will complement the programme.
We are particularly pleased that State Minister Christian Bernreiter will open the conference.
